Job Description

Overview:

Foot Locker Inc. seeks a Regional Investigator to oversee Loss Prevention functions in Texas, Louisiana, and surrounding areas. As an integral part of the Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for loss control, shrinkage results, internal investigations, training, and external theft. Loss Prevention functions also include partnering with Store Operations and Human Resources to protect company assets. R esponsible for being familiar with all local government mandates and updates to legislation within the region on Internal and External fraud or theft. 

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for shrink reduction in the assigned region.
  • Conducts internal investigations related to theft, business abuse, and policy violations by conducting interviews, determining a course of action, presenting investigative findings for recommendations, and writing incident reports.
  • Monitors inventory compliance by examining ESN audits for internal/external controls.
  • Ensures implementation and manages the execution of Loss Prevention training and Shortage Reduction programs for all field organization levels.
  • Responsible for communications with stores, Field Auditors, Human Resources, People Solutions, Regional Vice Presidents, and District Managers on loss prevention issues.
  • Collaborates with law enforcement agencies, mall security, and other retailers to discuss security and ORC activities.
  • Recovers restitution from dishonest associates and submits promissory notes to cost recovery.
  • Develop cases and reporting through exception-based reporting tools.
  • Trains store management and associates on LP policies and procedures by participating in TLC meetings, conference calls, and Floor Awareness meetings.
  • Represent the Company as a mentor, pro-active leader, and problem solver.
  • Provide management with accurate, timely, well-thought-out reports, projects, assignments, and shrinkage strategies.

Qualifications:
  • College Degree (4-year-preferred) or commensurate experience required
  • Formal Interviewing Training and or Certifications, i.e., W-Z, CFI.
  • 5-7 years of multi-store, retail Loss Prevention, management experience. 
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% (4 days per week) in an assigned area, with overnight stays, as business dictates
  • Proficient knowledge of exception-based reporting programs, strong computer skills, and understanding of MS Office Applications, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of LP Technology, i.e., CCTV, Burglary Alarm Systems, RFID, etc.
  • The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, capable of handling multiple tasks, and possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Benefits:

The annual base salary range is $65,000-$80,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
