Job Description

Job Summary 

We are looking for a skilled developer with extensive experience in React, Python, SQL, and APIs. The ideal candidate is passionate about building intuitive user interfaces, optimizing performance, and staying abreast of the latest frontend technologies and best practices; all while maintaining an energetic, and fun-loving personality.

Location

This is a hybrid position. We are looking for candidates in the greater Detroit Metro area.

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React.js.
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Manage and optimize Azure SQL databases for performance and scalability.
  • Containerize applications and services using Docker for consistent deployment.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless CI/CD processes via Bitbucket pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
  • Document technical solutions and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React and related technologies. 
  • Proficiency in React.js and frontend development best practices.
  • Strong experience in backend development using Python and FastAPI.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Docker for application containerization.
  • Experience with Azure deployment and management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Bitbucket.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
