Job Description

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Nurse Manager for our Postpartum Unit in Watertown, NY. We're seeking an experienced, compassionate leader to oversee patient care, staff management, and unit operations in our Maternal Department. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $40-$47 per hour, along with an excellent benefits package and paid relocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for all patient care activities, unit operations, and staff functions
• Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop, coordinate, and implement Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs
• Manage and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Oversee budget management and resource allocation for the unit
• Stay current with best practices in maternal and postpartum care

Job Requirements

• Current New York RN license
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• 3-5 years of clinical experience in maternal/postpartum care
• Proven leadership and management expertise in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
