Kerry Hill Winery is located in the beautiful Snake River Valley in Idaho. Established in 2019 we are a boutique, family-owned winery. Kerry Hill Winery has 35 acres of vineyards that are "LIVE Certified" adjacent to the winery.

Are you passionate about wine and love sharing that passion with others? We are seeking an energetic and personable individual to join our team as a Tasting Room Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll engage with guests and introduce them to some of the best wines in the Snake River AVA. The position will report directly to the owner. The Tasting Room Manager will be responsible for making sure our guests receive a 5-star experience each time they visit. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, has the ability to manage and lead others, have knowledge of wine, excellent customer service skills and a passion for educating our customers and team about our winery's offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Welcome guests with enthusiasm and provide a memorable experience
•  Educate visitors about our wines and vineyard history
•  Oversee daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests and the tasting room team
•  Manage and train staff to maintain excellent customer service and wine knowledge, plus motivate to grow wine club membership
•  Assist owner with inventory management, sales reporting, coordinating wine club events, music and food truck booking, and other special events
•  Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment

Qualifications:

•  2+ years of proven managerial or supervisory experience, preferably in the wine industry
•  Proficient with POS systems; preferably, (OrderPort)
•  Passionate about wine with strong knowledge of the wine industry
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you enjoy talking with people
•  Energetic, friendly, and able to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team
•  Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Basic Requirements:

•  21 years or older w/ valid driver's license
•  Ability to lift 45 pounds (a case of wine)
•  Be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
•  Strong multi-tasking skills
