Job Description

Growing Midwest Hospitality Group seeks an experienced Wedding Services Manager with Resort experience. The Ideal Candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding Wedding Sales expectations, establishing a rapport with the Wedding party, and being present to ensure the special day exceeds expectations. Responsibilities:

  • Service Weddings from start to finish from sale to planning meetings to detailing to the execution of all aspects of the wedding events
  • facilitate tasting of meal items
  • Utilize sales prowess to offer options to enhance our weddings and increase revenues
  • Manage incoming wedding inquiries
  • Work with walk-in inquiries for weddings and conduct tours
  • Service of the event(s) during its function, including set-up of the event, decorations, overseeing ceremonies, timing of meals, presentation of the couple, etc
  • Work closely with the Director of Banquets and Catering Sales in marketing through outside sales and telemarketing in regard to Rooms, F & B, and Activities
  • Creates banquet event order (BEO) forms clearly and detailed after the conclusion of planning meetings and bookings

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, and/or college degree or equivalent experience in the marketing of food and beverage, proven sales and supervisory experience in resort food and beverage
