Trace is excited to announce we are hiring a Fork Lift operator/ Material Handler to work at Charleston AFB. We want the candidate to start ASAP. Shift - Monday through Friday. The hours will be discussed upon interview.

Responsibilities:

5 days per week the store receives tractor trailers full of groceries. The product is offloaded and moved to a breakdown area. The Material Handler is responsible to safely sort and segregate the pallets of groceries. As they down stack the product they sort and segregate the items by isle and section. The goal is sort the product neatly so that the stockers can come in at night, pull the newly palletized groceries to the sales floor and efficiently stock the shelves.

• Store Semi-Perishable products according to Warehouse Storage Location Plan.
• Pull Stored product from shelves and prepare for Sales Floor Stocking.
• Clean, organize and maintain Warehouse so as to ensure Stockers can productively locate and stock all products.
• Store Perishable products according to location plan in Walk in Coolers and Freezers.
• Monitor Best-By-Dates on Semi Perishable and Perishable items in Warehouse, Freezers and Coolers.
• Ensure all items are arranged in all areas of Warehouse, Freezers and Coolers so Stockers can efficiently locate, identify and productively stock items.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail a must.
• Needs to be dependable.
• Should be comfortable around customers.
• Work in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift 35lbs.
• Must be able to use a Pallet Jack.
• Should have ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The job is on Military Facility; a Back Ground Investigation will be completed.
• If Driving on base, current Driver’s License, Insurance and Registration is required.
