3D Model Management is seeking a skilled and dynamic BIM Specialist to join our team. This role will involve close collaboration with an external team, managing Revit deliverables, with an additional focus on reality capture and point cloud registration. Additionally, the candidate may be involved in assisting the external team with Revit model development, standardization and quality assurance. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact with the external team members, as well as being expected to manage projects and provide guidance to an internal team.
This role represents a significant growth opportunity within our company as we expand our services on offer. Future responsibilities may include onboarding, training, and managing additional hires on the account.
Key Responsibilities:
1. BIM Coordination:
- Operate as the point of contact in various BIM development workflows, provide guidance, QA/QC and project management.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in the data transfer process.
2. Collaboration with external stakeholders:
- Work closely with our partners on model development and quality assurance tasks.
- Act as the primary point of contact, provide guidance and best practices advice to development partners.
3. Future Responsibilities:
- Assist in onboarding, training, and managing additional hires on the account as our services expand.
- Perform scan registration and coordination tasks using Leica LIDAR equipment, Leica Cyclone registration software, Autodesk Recap registration software, and Autodesk Revit. Training provided.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Architecture or Engineering, or a similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of BIM or VDC work with an interest in reality capture and point clouds. Basic Revit Knowledge a must, advanced knowledge preferred.
Technical Software Skills: Experience in Revit, Cyclone, Recap important. Experience in BIM 360, ACC, Project Management beneficial.
