About:

The Student Pastor is responsible for shepherding the students of Nettleton Baptist Church to continually be conformed into the image of Christ.

This is a full-time, paid position with competitive salary, full-coverage health insurance, and a retirement plan. Nettleton Baptist Church averages around 900 in weekly worship attendance.

Salary Range: $55,000-70,000 Annual

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 3-5 years’ ministry experience preferred
• Strong spiritual leader
• Grounded in the Bible
• Strong relationship skills
• Committed believer in Jesus Christ
• Supports the core values of NBC

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate a discipleship path for students, in line with our core values, that encourages engagement in the congregation
• Provide a quality worship experience on a weekly basis for high school and junior high students, engaging and raising up students to lead
• Provide a culture where students are both loved and valued and challenged and changed
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a strategic plan for engaging parents, in line with our core value of Taking Christ Home with You
• Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and leaders
• Plan and develop outreach events to engage students who do not have a church home
• Plan and develop mission opportunities for students to take the gospel across the streets, across the states, and across the seas
• Create and implement policies and procedures that will provide a safe space for workers, parents, and students, utilizing Ministry Safe best practices as a guideline
