Senior Chemical Engineer

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Chemical Engineer with a passion for research and development in innovative chemical processes. This role focuses on designing and optimizing mixing technologies for diverse industrial applications, including energetics, pharmaceuticals, batteries, energy storage, and more. The position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects from bench scale to full production, involving advanced acoustic mixing technology, and encompasses both batch and continuous mixing processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned projects from inception through completion, ensuring product and process development objectives are met.
  • Conduct research and apply advanced chemical engineering principles to solve complex challenges.
  • Design and optimize chemical processes, including mixing, mass transport, heat transfer, scaling, process control, and process optimization.
  • Develop protocols, research reports, and grant proposals, presenting findings to teams, clients, investors, and collaborators.
  • Tackle product and process issues through technical investigations, while advancing new product commercialization.
  • Utilize knowledge of various mixing designs (solid-solid, liquid-solid, liquid-liquid) and fundamentals for conventional mixing processes.
  • Travel internationally as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical engineering, with a background in product or process development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
