Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve or surpass sales quotas for the assigned territory.
Generate leads through in-person and phone-based cold calling.
Respond to customer inquiries about product features, pricing, and additional services.
Represent Alma Lasers at conventions and industry events.
Guide customers through the sales process to successful closures.
Build and close emotional sales opportunities.
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple time-sensitive tasks.
Exhibit resilience in handling rejection and maintain focus on achieving sales goals.
Address and overcome customer objections to secure sales.
Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to selling.
Conduct product demonstrations effectively.
Leverage resources such as reference sites, clinical specialists, and partner personnel to meet objectives.
Cross-sell products to maximize client value.
Collaborate with other sales representatives to share best practices and achieve group sales goals.
Fulfill customer care and finance requirements as established by the company.
Provide timely and accurate reports to the Regional Sales Director, detailing the status of leads and sales opportunities via Salesforce CRM.
Build strong relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other relevant professionals, including ASPS, AACS, OB/GYNs, and private practice physicians.
Assist Territory Sales Managers in closing deals and provide mentorship.
Carry and meet a seven-figure sales quota.
Demonstrate a proven ability to close deals.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in medical or capital sales.
Experience with medical devices, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser sales is a plus.
Required Skills:
Positive attitude and collaborative approach to team responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
Strong multitasking abilities and excellent organizational skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Supervisory Responsibility:
No direct reports; however, the role includes mentoring and supporting Territory Sales Managers.
Work Environment:
This position operates remotely, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and cell phones. The role also involves visits to doctor’s offices and spas.
Physical Demands:
Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
Travel:
This position requires up to 60% travel as needed.
