RN Nurse Manager - Neuro Trauma
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (No Weekends)
Compensation: 46.50−46.50−69.75/hr based on experience

Position Overview:
A premier 234-bed acute care facility in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager for the Neuro Trauma Unit. As a vital leader in the Progressive Care Neuro Trauma Unit (PCNT), you will work closely with the PCNT Director and other interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, compassionate care to critically ill patients. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered leadership and a collaborative approach to maintaining high standards of care and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes in a critical care environment.
Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, patient rounding, and family engagement for satisfaction.
Work with the PCNT Director, educators, physicians, and HR to support team performance, compliance, and regulatory standards.
Conduct performance evaluations, counsel staff, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Licensure: Active RN License in NH or Compact State License.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross); PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR preferred.
Experience: 3-7 years of acute care nursing in a critical care setting, including neuro trauma supervisory experience.

Facility Overview: 234-bed hospital, Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive heart and vascular program, and 24/7 neurosurgical services.
Support Structure: Collaborate with the PCNT Director and a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
