THE ROLE

As a Product Cybersecurity Intern, your responsibility will be to work alongside Oshkosh Product Cybersecurity Engineers, assisting with projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Secure-by-Design principles. You will support and assist the engineering team by developing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARAs), Cyber monitoring, Vulnerability Scanning, and supporting various project cyber reviews and work products. This role will work on a variety of key projects and initiatives ranging from simple tasks to more complex analytical projects.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Product Cybersecurity Intern Your Experience May Include

  • Support Product CybersecurityEngineers in the security design and requirements development of vehicle/system architectures
  • Leverage Cyber software tools (Itemis Secure and/or Cybellum) in creating digital twins of the project, monitoringfor vulnerabilities, report generation, andcompliance to ISO Standards within a cybersecurity management system (CSMS)
  • Generate Software bill of materials (SBOM) and/or work with suppliers for SBOM gatherings
  • Reviewsupplier and associated components for quality conscious design, i.e., adherence to applicable Cybersecurity Standards, component data & artifacts, supplier CSMS
  • Consult with suppliersand internal departments to developpractical solutions forimplementation
  • Prepare and maintain cybersecurity documentation necessary to support the configuration of specific vehicles
  • Participate in peer reviews and other engineering activities


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related degree
  • Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the duration of the internship. Summer housing is available to interns whose permanent address is greater than 50 miles from their work location.


Pay Range

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
