Are you passionate about supporting students in reaching their full potential? We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year! This role is essential in helping students achieve their educational, social, and emotional goals while working closely with teachers to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

What You'll Do:
As a Paraprofessional, you will play a key role in assisting students throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing Support & Encouragement

Build positive relationships with students and teachers
Support students in completing assignments and staying engaged in class
Assist students with transitions between activities and locations
Help implement school-wide and classroom behavior initiatives
Fostering Growth & Development

Work collaboratively with teachers to support student progress
Follow individualized lesson plans to help students meet academic, social, and emotional goals
Assist students in using technology and adaptive tools for learning and communication
Ensuring Student Well-Being

Support students with daily living activities as needed (e.g., eating, hygiene, brushing teeth)
Maintain a safe and structured environment for students
Collect data on students' academic and behavioral progress

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a caring and dependable professional who:

Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Demonstrates patience, kindness, and a willingness to learn
Is reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively
Can maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

Additional Requirements (as per state/local guidelines):
Completion of background checks (e.g., child abuse clearance, criminal history check)
First Aid and/or CPR certification
Any required state registration or certification
Ongoing professional development as required
Physical & Environmental Considerations:

This role involves:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
Supporting students in various school settings, including classrooms and outdoor areas
Possible exposure to allergens and bodily fluids, with protective equipment provided as needed
