Job Description

Black Hills Surgical Hospital, the region's leader providing exceptional care and superior service is seeking a Registered Nurse Navigator for our Hip and Knee Center of Excellence. BHSH is nationally recognized for quality orthopedic care and is consistently ranked as one of America's best hospitals for spine surgery.

The Nurse Navigator role is part of our patient-focused Hip and Knee Center and helps guide patients through their hip or knee procedure. Nurse Navigators develop relationships with our total joint patients and serve as their support person throughout the process. Nurse Navigators provide pre-op assessments, assist with patient education and ensure total joint patients are adequately prepared for their spine surgical care. Postoperatively, Nurse Navigators are an important single point of contact and resource for patients and help contribute to exceptional outcomes. 

Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of previous case management or discharge planning experience. 3-5 years of medical/surgical nursing is required.
