JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Middle School Director, serve as a physical education teacher through planning, delivering, and assessing instructional lessons aligned with the California Common Core Standards. Teachers drive the mission and vision of the school forward by integrating the arts into their classrooms, leading students to think about the world's social inequities and inspiring them to enact change.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
WAGE AND BENEFITS: This is a full-time, 10-month salaried position. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; a competitive benefits package is included. The salary range is $67,860 - $101,738 annually. Teachers are compensated based on their placement on a salary scale divided into Developing, Lead, and distinguished Teacher categories. Compensation is determined based on years of teaching, expertise, and education units. In addition, a sign-on retention stipend of $1,000-$2,000 is available (payable at the end of the school year).
