Job Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a Mechanical A ssembler  for our client in Bloomington, MN !

We are seeking qualified candidates with:

• Mechanical assembly and inspection experience 
• The ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
• Proven reliability and a positive attitude!  

Here's what you'll do:

• Performs sequential assembly operations of mechanical units and sub-units with minimal supervision.
• Performs packaging operations as required by the job schedule.
• Works with a variety of gauges and fixtures for precision fits.
• Reads blueprints and follows work instructions.
• Inspecting finishing products and ensuring they are meeting quality standards set by the Company.
• Documenting defective parts and report production obstacles to the supervisor.
• Perform simplified procedure with the Company ERP system (Microsoft Navision) in order to keep track of the production progress.
• Ensure a clean and clutter-free workspace (workbench or machine/packaging station).

Position Type: Direct Placement  

Pay: $21/hr.

Schedule: M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with assembly operations in a production environment. 

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Must be able to provide manual operations with precision. 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain standing for a portion of your shift if required by the production process. 
• Must be able to handle units of medium weights (up to 30 Lbs).
