Title: IT Project Manager - Remote
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Remote


Only W2 candidates are eligible for this position. Third-party or C2C candidates will not be considered.

Candidates must be willing to work EST schedule.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours. 8am - 5pm, with some flexibility required based on work with global teams. OT not anticipated.

Travel: Travel dependent on project phase

Assignment expected through end of year. Possibility of extension based on demand.

About the Project:
More than Halfway through the current Transformation program which started 3 years ago
Goal is to have single ERP system which is SAP S4 HANA system
Currently have 29 legacy systems and Bringing to all down to 3 different SAP systems
Enhancing SAP S4 HANA Application; Making changes in an ERP/SAP System based on Operational Demand



Responsibilities:
Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project and meeting deadlines of project.
Develops project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Provides guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals and company standards. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organization s objectives and schedules effectively and on time.
Establishes operating standards and procedures that affect subordinate organizational units.
Acts as an advisor to subordinate supervision or staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.
Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance standards. Exerts influence in the development of project objectives and deliverables.
Frequent contacts with equivalent level managers and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarifications.
Assesses and utilizes best fit project management process to meet program and project objectives.
Project communication planning and execution setting appropriate expectations, communicating status with all stakeholder groups, escalating issues and concerns when warranted.
Working with the sponsor to ensure the planned business value is progressing according to plan
Coordination, aligned with Global Sourcing partner, of vendor management (RFI, RFP, SOW, etc.)
Change management addressed in organization, technology, architecture, and business readiness
Coordination of quality outcomes through test planning and execution
Execution of project plan deliverables, including operational readiness with the appropriate project team members
Issue facilitation, communication, and resolution

Ability to connect with IT and Non-IT Audience, good communication and collaboration skills

Experience/Education:
Required:

5+ years of project management experience (good foundation on Full Project Lifecycle, on all phases of an IT project)
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or Associate's degree (minimum) plus equivalent 5+ years of project management experience
Advanced Computer Skills
Prior experience managing an ERP (S4HANA) transformation project
Manage large projects through the entire process
Explain technical concepts in a non-technical language
Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with facilitation skills across global program/project teams
Strong financial acumen and have prior project budget experience

** REQUIRED: Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP Certified (Resume must include certification number & active dates). PMP Certification must be included & active for consideration.

** Agile/Scrum Certified (ex. Scrum Master) - Desired

Candidates with extensive experience, including 25 30 years, are welcome to apply. Senior-level candidates will not be disqualified due to overqualification.

Preferred Skills:

Hands on experience in ERP and manufacturing technologies (i.e. SAP S4HANA, Camstar, etc.) and cloud implementations

Desired Skills:
** Knowledge of SDLC as a quality framework for project management **
ITIL and/or ISO understanding
** Negotiation skills and experience **
Contract management experience for project delivery
Prior experience in a similar or equivalent position
