Job description - Inside Sales Representative

GK Machine, Inc., located in Donald, Oregon, is a leading industrial and agricultural manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. We seek a motivated and experienced Industrial and Agricultural Manufacturing Sales professional to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders from existing customer accounts.
  • Create sales quotes, follow up with customers, receive purchase orders, and place sales orders.
  • Understand and interpret customers' technical requirements to accurately process product orders.
  • Provide technical information and details of job requirements, timelines, and delivery schedules to customers.
  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business as assigned.
  • Contact customers in your territory at least once per quarter and maintain a log of interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts as necessary.
  • Utilize the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily, scheduling and documenting all activities, including sales leads and probability of securing the order, and developing prospective customer profiles.
  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries, inside sales personnel, and vendor partnerships, preferably within the same business day.
  • Service the customer during and after the sale to ensure satisfaction.
  • Work with the inside sales team to generate sales quotes.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, services, pricing structure, competitive products, and local competitive pricing.
  • Work effectively as a team to ensure corporate, team, and personal goals are achieved.
  • Identify, promptly address, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Attend trade shows, product training, sales meetings, and appointments as assigned.
  • Obtain management approval for all work-related travel and expenses.
  • Meet or exceed business sales goals and gross margin targets.
  • Some travel may be required to attend tradeshows, customer meetings, trainings, and seminars.
