We are seeking a PRN Hospitalist / Advanced Practice Provider responsible to provide primary and episodic patient care.  The Certified Nurse Practitioner, CNP, or Physician's Assistant - Certified, PA-C, evaluates and treats patients for work-related injuries/illnesses, develops treatment plans, performs comprehensive physical examinations, counsels' patients regarding condition and follow-up, and reviews, creates, and implements the occupational health program.  

Work as needed, typically Saturdays and/or Sundays.  Saturdays 4 -10 hours. Sundays 2 - 4 hours.  

This Hospitalist position is located at our main hospital location at 910 E 20th St. Sioux Falls, SD.   

At our surgical specialty hospital, the 33-bed Recovery Care Unit is a vital component for the continuation of care for our surgical patients needing an overnight stay. On average, our patients stay 1-2 nights, where our dedicated team prioritizes a patient-centered approach to care. Requirements

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • Degree from an accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required.
  • Licensed in the State of South Dakota, or able to obtain SD license upon hire.
  • BLS, ACLS certification preferred; can be obtained upon hire.
  • Two plus years of urgent care, emergency, or family practice experience in recent years preferred.
