Job Description

Description of the role A Home Health Aide at University Home Care is responsible for providing essential in-home healthcare services to patients in the Canton, Michigan area. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting the elderly, disabled, or chronically ill individuals with their daily activities, and personal care. Responsibilities

  • Assisting patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Medication Reminders
  • Assisting with mobility and transferring patients from beds to chairs or vice versa
  • Preparing meals
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and maintaining cleanliness
Requirements
  • Valid driver License
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-oriented approach
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
