Job Description

Description of the role A Home Health Aide at University Home Care is responsible for providing essential in-home healthcare services to patients in the Canton, Michigan area. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting the elderly, disabled, or chronically ill individuals with their daily activities, and personal care. Responsibilities

Assisting patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
Medication Reminders
Assisting with mobility and transferring patients from beds to chairs or vice versa
Preparing meals
Providing companionship and emotional support to patients
Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and maintaining cleanliness

Requirements

Valid driver License
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-oriented approach
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
