Head Coach – D1 Training Rancho Cucamonga Lead. Develop. Build Champions. D1 Training is looking for a
high-level leader to step into the role of
Head Coach at our facility. This is not just a coaching position — this is a
leadership role for someone who wants to build coaches, elevate culture, and drive results.

inspire and motivate athletes to reach their full potential through elite coaching, structured programming, and an unmatched training experience.
Role Overview The Head Coach is the
Coach of Coaches and the
face of the coaching department . You will lead all coaching operations, develop staff, ensure the D1 product is delivered at a high level, and partner closely with the General Manager to drive retention, culture, and performance.
This is a
full-time leadership position that combines coaching, mentorship, and operational ownership.
Key Responsibilities Coach Leadership & Development - Hire, onboard, and develop all coaches
- Lead ongoing coach education and performance audits
- Run weekly programming calls and monthly team development
- Build a strong bench of future coaches
- Ensure full class and PT schedule coverage
Coaching & Programming - Coach group classes and personal training sessions
- Ensure proper execution of D1 Training methodology
- Uphold coaching standards, safety, and class quality
- Drive consistent delivery of the D1 experience
Member Experience & Retention - Lead proactive and reactive retention efforts
- Conduct Graduate check-ins and low-usage outreach
- Ensure a high-energy, welcoming, and community-driven culture
- Support PT re-ups, referrals, and long-term member success
Facility & Operations - Maintain a clean, premium, brand-standard facility
- Oversee equipment care and readiness
- Partner with GM on scheduling, staffing, and reporting
- Support grassroots marketing and community outreach events
What We’re Looking For - Proven leader who enjoys developing other coaches
- Strong communicator with high standards
- Organized, accountable, and detail-oriented
- Passion for athlete development and culture-building
- Ability to balance coaching, leadership, and admin responsibilities
Required Qualifications - CSCS, CPT, USAW, or equivalent certification (required)
- Experience coaching group training and/or athletes
- Leadership or head coach experience preferred
- Availability to coach mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
