Job Description

Are you highly communicative, outgoing, and determined to excel? Do you enjoy solving problems and developing successful business strategies? If YES, then Friends of the Animals wants YOU as our new full-time Fundraising Manager ! Our nonprofit is on a mission to support local pet welfare, and we're looking for a dynamic, results-oriented person to help further our vision.

Our Fundraising Manager makes $64,000 - $72,000/year and has the potential to earn incentives. We also offer fantastic benefits , such as:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of relevant management and fundraising experience
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and foster positive relationships with donors, staff, volunteers, management, and the public
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Love for animals and people

The ability to work with Network for Good, a donor management CRM, would be preferred. Our ideal candidate also has experience with marketing, planning events, managing budgets, and growing a donor network.

 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Our Fundraising Manager has a hybrid schedule, including weekdays and weekends, depending on events and business needs.

You're an essential part of our continued success as you help secure the funding we need to properly serve our pet population. This dynamic role involves planning and managing various events and funding activities to encourage donations and help us meet our financial goals. Thinking strategically, you create opportunities to meet new donors, build relationships with potential sponsors, and secure contributions to keep our nonprofit thriving.

You develop marketing materials, fundraising campaigns, and engaging newsletters. Collaborating with management and committee members, you recruit new members and volunteers, prepare and present budgets, and ensure that all funding efforts comply with regulations and reporting requirements. You call donors, send thank you cards, track expenses, and accurately enter data to track our progress. Motivated to achieve the best results, you stay on top of the latest fundraising trends and marketing strategies.
