Fraud & Brand Protection Analyst Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fraud & Brand Protection Analyst to join our team, taking a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients' brands from fraudulent activities and brand impersonation threats.

In this position, you will leverage analytical tools, proactive strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to mitigate risks, ensure client reputational security, and enhance fraud prevention capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive monitoring across platforms such as web, social media, and email using advanced tools and manual techniques to detect brand impersonation and related fraudulent activities
• Analyse fraud patterns linked to brand impersonation, creating detailed reports and risk assessments
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to prevent brand impersonation and protect brand identity
• Collaborate with legal, IT, and marketing teams to coordinate response efforts and enforce protective measures against brand impersonation incidents
• Lead employee training sessions to improve recognition and reporting of brand fraud activities
• Stay updated on fraud prevention trends, evolving cybersecurity threats, and compliance regulations to strengthen defense mechanisms
• Respond swiftly to brand impersonation incidents and engage external agencies when necessary for effective resolution and takedown actions
• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of fraud prevention tools, takedown processes, and detection methodologies to bolster overall brand protection

Requirements

• 3+ years of working experience in fraud prevention, brand protection, or related fields
• Knowledge of fraud detection tools, online monitoring platforms, and manual investigative techniques
• Familiarity with web, social media, and email-based threat monitoring systems
• Background in cybersecurity regulations, compliance, and enforcement strategies
• Competency in designing and implementing training programs for employee awareness related to fraud and brand impersonation
• Capability to assess fraud prevention tools and recommend process enhancements
• Understanding of collaborative response strategies involving legal, IT, and marketing teams

• Showcase of successful takedown actions in prior brand protection initiatives
• Qualifications in advanced threat analysis or risk management frameworks
• Expertise in social media fraud prevention tools and techniques
