The Endoscopy GI Nurse Supervisor will lead a dynamic team of professionals and work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The Charge Nurse Surgical Care will report directly to the GI Lab Assistant Nurse Manager and Manager, as well as oversee 1-2 GI Labs that have about 15 daily cases. The Endoscopy GI Nurse Supervisor directs the activities of the GI Lab, and will direct the activities of the patient care team. In collaboration with department leadership, the Endoscopy GI Nurse Supervisor will participate in planning, managing and evaluating unit based clinical care and ensuring that continuity of care is maintained. The Endoscopy GI Nurse Supervisor will contribute to Magnet redesignation, participate in department professional activities and help to identify opportunities to improve clinical and administrative processes.
