The ITW GSE Division is an industry leading manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to the aviation industry.

Core customers are Airports and Airlines in all countries around the World.

Core products are Power Supply Units for aircraft parked on the ground.

Job Description



We are seeking a talented and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems and experience with C and C++ programming languages. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software for our industry-leading products. 

 

Follows established procedures and uses software engineering theories and techniques to design, develop and test embedded software for various applications. 

  • Collaborates with other team members to define requirements and specifications. 

  • Debugs and optimizes code for performance and reliability. 

  • Creates and maintains documentation according to established procedures. 

  • Assists production and service departments as required. 

  • Other responsibilities as requested by Management. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in embedded software development. 

  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages. 

  • Strong understanding of microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware interfaces. 

  • Experience with debugging tools and techniques. 

  • Familiarity with electronic circuits and schematics. 

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of software engineering experience. 

  • Familiarity with embedded Linux. 

  • Experience with Graphical User Interfaces on embedded systems. 

  • Knowledge in rectifiers, inverters and 3-phased systems
