We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented eCommerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online retail and a passion for driving sales through innovative digital strategies.
Job Summary:
The eCommerce Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales channels to maximize revenue improve customer experience and drive overall business growth. This role involves collaboration with various departments including marketing sales and IT to ensure seamless eCommerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
eCommerce Platform Management: Oversee the daytoday management of the companys eCommerce platforms including product listings pricing and inventory management.
Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies including SEO SEM email marketing and social media campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
Website Optimization: Collaborate with the web development team to ensure the eCommerce site is optimized for user experience speed and search engines.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze website performance sales data and customer behavior using tools like Google Analytics. Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvements.
Customer Experience: Ensure a positive customer experience by optimizing the online shopping journey addressing customer inquiries and managing online reviews.
Content Management: Create update and maintain product content images and descriptions to ensure they are accurate compelling and aligned with brand guidelines.
Sales & Promotions: Plan and execute promotional campaigns discounts and special offers to drive sales and improve customer retention.
Marketplace Management: Manage thirdparty eCommerce platforms (e.g. Amazon eBay) including product listings order fulfillment and customer service.
Inventory Management: Work closely with the supply chain and operations teams to manage stock levels forecast demand and ensure timely order fulfillment.
A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on various elements of the site to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with external vendors including payment gateways shipping partners and technology providers.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or a related field.
Proven experience as an eCommerce Specialist or similar role in an online retail environment.
Proficient in eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify Magento WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools.
Strong understanding of SEO SEM and online advertising.
Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics Google Search Console and other relevant platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of HTML CSS and web development best practices is a plus.
