Job Description

Position Overview:
We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations and monthly financial closings. This role reports directly to the President and is responsible for managing accounting processes using Sage 300 CRE, Sage Inventory Management, and Dashboards. The position also involves supervising a small team (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and office clerical staff) and providing financial projections and statements to ownership. Additional duties include managing multi-state financial setups, depreciation schedules for vehicles and equipment, HR compliance, and 401k administration.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure timely monthly financial closings
Provide weekly projections and financial statements to company leadership
Manage funds transfer and coordinate multi-state accounting setups
Maintain depreciation schedules for company vehicles and equipment
Ensure HR compliance and handle 401k management
Supervise a team of three, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and office clerical staff
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction accounting role (preferably in mechanical or roofing)
Proficiency in Sage 300 CRE and Sage Inventory Management
Experience in multi-state accounting and business setup
Strong organizational and leadership skills
