Job Details
Position: CDL A Dedicated Driver – Advance Auto Parts
Location: Must live within 50 miles of Gastonia, NC
Freight Type: Auto parts; driver unload at Advance Auto stores using electric pallet jacks
Equipment: 53' trailers, mix of 2018+ Freightliners & Kenworths (day cabs & sleepers)
Miles: 1,700–1,800 per week
Stops: 3–6 per delivery; ~30 unloads per week
Schedule: Sun–Thur, Mon–Fri, or Tue–Sat (varies by assigned route)
Home Time: Home daily for the most part; occasional 1–2 layovers per week
Delivery Area: NC, SC, GA
Pay Structure
CPM: $0.46 CPM (max pay $0.57 CPM)
Weekly Minimum: $1,300/week (must work full week to qualify); $1,500 minimum after 1 year of service
Stop Pay: $30 per stop
Delay Pay: $17/hour after 2 hours
Bonuses:
$500 New Hire Transition Bonus (paid in 2nd paycheck)
Requirements
Valid CDL A License
12 months recent tractor-trailer experience
Hazmat endorsement required
Must be comfortable driving at night
Must complete full work week to receive weekly minimum guarantee
