We are looking for a friendly, creative, high-energy, team leader to serve as Café/Market Assistant Manager. This person should enjoy serving pastries and espresso drinks, selling unique retail items and gift baskets, engaging with our community and being a natural leader. The assistant manager will help oversee daily operations with the primary goal of creating a positive and memorable customer experience and ensuring profitability for the business. Responsibilities include training and managing staff, tracking and replenishing inventory for coffee, daily hot meal, pastries, & beverages, along with any other tasks that will assist and support the Manager.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of retail management experience preferred

• Continuous demonstrated ability to lead and provide excellent customer service

• Experience coaching, training, and developing others

• Three years of Barista experience 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Effective time management and delegation skills
