About the Job

Eye Designs is looking for an experienced cabinetmaker (4+ years) who is skilled in construction and production of cabinets, wall systems, and other custom interior fixtures. This position will have responsibility for making custom cabinets to client specifications. This position is on-site first shift, Monday through Thursday 7a-3:30p, Friday's 6a-2:30p.

We provide interior design services, branding and marketing assistance, quick ship products, accessories, and lighting while manufacturing most of our products at our Collegeville, PA facility.

Essential Duties:

  • Creates cabinetry, countertops, displays or desks using machines or hands to cut, shape, or smooth wood into specified dimensions.
  • Uses spray adhesives, glues, table saws, wood joiners and planers, power tools or equipment when building cabinets, countertops, displays or desks.
  • Ensures cabinets created are accurate and meet specifications.
  • Performs quality control on work completed to ensure company standards are met before transferring to another production area or client.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience making custom cabinets in a factory setting required, preferably in the kitchen, bath or millwork industry; or a minimum of six (6) years working as a carpenter building cabinets, bookcases etc.
  • Knowledgeable regarding cabinet construction and assembly.
  • Experienced with typical woodworking tools.
  • Capable of working with various materials (wood, plastic, veneer etc..) with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining precision, accuracy and attention to detail.
