Job Description

Who We ** Scheduling Office of the Fuels and Lubricants Research Division.Objectives of this * Provide close contact with Division 08 external clients on testing priorities and test availability.Monitor and initiate client test requests while properly dealing with external registration organizations.Work closely with other personnel (as a Team) to complete daily and routine tasks.Processes receipt of test oils other test materials working with shipping and receiving and oil inventory personnel.Daily and Monthly * Daily client communication; respond quickly and effectively to client inquiries.Be able to respond to technical emails inquiring about oil arrivals and testing availability.Monitor and complete daily test status. Work with test registration organizations to properly register tests.Discuss test availability and estimated start dates with clients and SWRI engineers.Work closely with internal SwRI project leaders and laboratory staff to properly schedule testing.Keep track of test counts and hours for several engine tests to ensure tests are run in referenced and calibrated test stands.Other duties as assigned.Be willing and able to work overtime as required; work in a high-output team environment with daily deadlines. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. An Associate’s degree from an accredited university is strongly preferred.1 *** Laboratory experience with desire to learn laboratory environment.1 ***** Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat is highly desirable. Ability to learn and work daily with SwRI-developed software.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Must be able to courteously deal with public and clients. Must be able to work in a team.A valid/clear drivers license is required.
