Job Description

Objective

The Accounts Payable and Payroll Accountant is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to the company’s financial policies and for the timely execution of vendor payments.  The role extends to executing expense payments to employees and subcontractors and ensuring timely North America payroll execution. This role is critical in supporting all aspects of Accounts payable globally and North America payroll. The position is designated for a temporary contractor, anticipated to span a duration of three to four months.

 

Requirements

  • Process biweekly Concur reports and payroll within ADP for the US and Canada.
  • Execute contractor wire payments via BOA CashPro for the US and Canada.
  • Update employee payroll records and maintain payroll-related spreadsheets.
  • Provide guidance to employees and contractors on corrective actions for random Concur expenses audit.
Accounts Payable
  • Manage the accounts payable email inbox and invoice logs for the US, Canada, and EMEA regions.
  • Facilitate invoice payment approvals and process weekly accounts payable payments.
  • Record accounts payable transactions and complete month-end responsibilities.
 

Intercompany

  • Ensure monthly rebilling of relevant expenses to other entities.
  • Record intercompany payable invoices.
Generally
  • Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Adhere to group accounting procedures and policies.
  • Proactively communicate with finance department in Atlanta and London.
  • Efficiently address ad hoc queries and maximize the benefits of IT platforms.
  • Maintain regular communication with senior finance department members and provide necessary support.
  • Exhibit initiative to enhance efficiency and improve the quality of financial reporting.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and support other finance team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Oracle and ADP payroll systems.
  • Exposure to SAP Concur is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
