Job Description
We are searching for enthusiastic and adaptable sports coaches who possess a genuine passion for working with young children and leading them in a wide range of sports activities. As a sports coach, you will be responsible for instructing and organizing sports classes and camps for children, including basketball, tennis, volleyball, pickleball, soccer, and more!
- Kids ages 5-12 in non-competitive enrichment-based programs
- 5-20 hours/week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday most times from 3-7 pm
- Locations: Northern Cal San Fran South Bay areas of San Jose, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Los Altos, Palo Alto, and Fremont
- $30-40/hour
Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide groups of young children in sports activities, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Introduce innovative techniques and drills during practice sessions to enhance players' skills.
- Coach players on the fundamentals of the sport, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Serve as a mentor and positive role model for young athletes, promoting character development and sportsmanship.
- Ensure punctuality and efficient check-in of students for classes and camps.
- Manage classroom settings effectively, demonstrating excellent time and behavior management skills.
