We are currently looking for drivers who would like to take on the Yard Jockey responsabilities and, of course, the benefits. All the Yard Jockeys that will be hired MUST HAVE HAZARD ENDORSMENT.
Among the different tasks as a Yard Jockey you will have are trailer preparedness, daily inspections on equipment, yard and facilities; moving trailers in and out of the dock doors for loading and unloading, staging equipment for easy access and accountability among a few others.
At this time, we are only taking applications from drivers who live in the city of Salina, KS or within 50 miles around it. Drivers who live outside the specified area will not be considered for this position.
As a Yard Jockey you will be able to spend time at home on the weekends. Additionally, there is plenty overtime at a pay rate of $30.00 per hour once the regular 40 hours have been covered. So we need ambitious and eager to work candidates.
