Our client maintains a small network of WordPress websites, the majority of which use the their Site Builder Gutenberg Based Theme and Plugin library.

This will be a remote contract position, 12 hours per week for 5 months.

They is seeking a talented WordPress developer contractor to assist their team maintain this network. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development and maintenance.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

> Perform regular site maintenance tasks such as testing and installing updates

> Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues that may arise

> Address theme issues and enhancement requests

> Maintain a high level of code quality and adhere to coding standards

Qualifications include:

Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong portfolio of work

Excellent knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Experience with version control systems - Git

Strong understanding of SEO best practices

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
