We are looking for a highly skilled, creative, and self-motivated Expert Web Designer to join our team and play a key role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality websites for both Inizio and our clients.
Position: Expert Web Designer
Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: Part-time (18 hours per week)
Time Zone: Kansas City, MO – Central Time
Fridays and weekends off (unless additional hours are agreed upon)
Potential for full-time within 90 days
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly websites tailored to client brand identities and marketing goals.
* Develop, update, and maintain WordPress and other CMS-based websites, ensuring high performance, security, and SEO optimization.
* Implement best practices in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design to enhance website functionality and engagement.
* Design and optimize high-converting landing pages to support marketing campaigns and lead generation.
* Ensure all websites are optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and search engines (Google Core Web Vitals, on-page SEO, etc.).
* Collaborate with social media and content teams to design graphics, banners, and multimedia elements for web use.
* Regularly audit and update website plugins, security measures, and backup systems to prevent downtime or vulnerabilities.
* Work closely with clients to understand their website needs, present design concepts, and make data-driven recommendations.
* At least three years of experience in web design and development
* Proficiency in WordPress (Elementor, WP Engine, Divi, etc.), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge preferred)
* Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, SEO best practices, website speed optimization, and Google Search Console & Analytics
* Experience in graphic design and branding is preferred, including proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD for wireframing, Canva for graphic creation, and Photoshop or Illustrator as a plus
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
