Start your new career as a Water Carrier with MAU at Century Aluminum in Goose Creek, SC. As a Water Carrier, you will distribute vital drinks and snacks to personnel throughout the shift and contact heat stress team members if needed.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to operate a gas-powered golf cart safely and efficiently
• Self-motived and able to perform required tasks in tense situations
• Willingness to wear appropriate PPE (high visibility outer vest/shirt, denim jeans, dip-tested boots, hard hat, and safety glasses) while performing job duties
• Ability to lift 26 – 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

What You’ll Do as a Water Carrier

• Complete a pre-use inspection and operate a gas-powered golf cart
• Ensure coolers are stocked with ice and drinks as required throughout the shift
• Replenish the cooler as needed
• Distribute company-provided snacks (pickles, crackers, peanuts, Chex Mix, fruit, etc.) as needed throughout the shift
• Contact the heat stress personnel via radio and wait with personnel to arrive if any plant personnel requests or requires medical attention
• Assist with housekeeping in the upper courtyards by picking up empty bottles and paper trash
• Perform other tasks as assigned
