Job Description

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR, 2nd Shift - 3pm to 11pm Essential Duties:

Planning and assigning work to meet daily shipping and receiving schedules.
Responsible for ensuring secure loading/unloading of products to prevent damage. Must report and assist in investigating damages to products or equipment due to warehouse personnel actions.
Helps maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Responsible for inspecting all incoming and outgoing vehicles before receiving or loading
Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving, and warehousing
Responsible for ensuring secure loading/unloading of products to prevent damage. Must report and assist in investigating damages to products or equipment due to warehouse personnel actions.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all finished goods in the warehouse
Ensure all lot codes are documented and all paperwork is processed daily
Follows and enforces guidelines for HAZMAT shipments following IATA, FAA, and DOT.
Enforces and maintains proper storage and identification for HAZMAT inventory.
Performs any additional tasks / special projects assigned by the QC manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma; 4-year college degree preferred and/or 5 years of work experience in a related field.
Previous experience in a leadership role in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with a successful track record is highly desirable.
Must be able to lead by example and communicate efficiently at all levels.
Food Safety, Employee Safety and knowledge of GMPs are required.
Excellent math skills are required.
Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
Must be available to work weekends when scheduled.
