Job Description
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR, 2nd Shift - 3pm to 11pm
Essential Duties:
- Planning and assigning work to meet daily shipping and receiving schedules.
- Responsible for ensuring secure loading/unloading of products to prevent damage. Must report and assist in investigating damages to products or equipment due to warehouse personnel actions.
- Helps maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Responsible for inspecting all incoming and outgoing vehicles before receiving or loading
- Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving, and warehousing
- Responsible for ensuring secure loading/unloading of products to prevent damage. Must report and assist in investigating damages to products or equipment due to warehouse personnel actions.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all finished goods in the warehouse
- Ensure all lot codes are documented and all paperwork is processed daily
- Follows and enforces guidelines for HAZMAT shipments following IATA, FAA, and DOT.
- Enforces and maintains proper storage and identification for HAZMAT inventory.
- Performs any additional tasks / special projects assigned by the QC manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; 4-year college degree preferred and/or 5 years of work experience in a related field.
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with a successful track record is highly desirable.
- Must be able to lead by example and communicate efficiently at all levels.
- Food Safety, Employee Safety and knowledge of GMPs are required.
- Excellent math skills are required.
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
- Must be available to work weekends when scheduled.
