A night in the role

As the Value Stream Operations Supervisor in our Pensacola, FL site, youll guide a production area through a Pitman schedule, keeping operations running smoothly from approximately 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM with alternating weekly workdays (including weekends). Reporting to the Sr. Value Stream Manager, you start by reviewing Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity/Cost (SQDIP) dashboards, then lead a brief huddle to align on goals, risks, and actions.

Throughout the shift, youll coach associates, balance staffing, coordinate training, and provide clear performance feedback. Youll apply Danaher Business System (DBS) toolslike 5S, Daily Management, and the Problem-Solving Processto eliminate waste and stabilize flow. You will partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to remove barriers, protect compliance with the quality management system, and maintain audit readiness. When issues arise, youll model structured root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to closure.

What youll lead

• Daily operations of the value stream, aligned to KPI targets and production commitments.
• A culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
• Staffing plans, schedules, training roadmaps, and timely coaching for all associates.
• Deployment of DBS methods (5S, Daily Management, Problem-Solving Process) to boost efficiency and quality.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Quality management system adherence and ongoing audit readiness.

What youll bring

• 2+ years in manufacturing or operations; prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Clear, confident communication and the ability to motivate and coach teams.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a CI mindset.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and practical problem-solving.

Travel, MVR & Physical/Environment

• Up to 10% travel to other Cytiva manufacturing sites across the US and worldwide.
• Access gauges and equipment 56 feet above floor level; lift and move up to 50 lb.
• Use necessary PPE, which may include respirator, air hood, and hearing protection.
