Job Summary A Title Clerk completes motor vehicle paperwork, interacts with the public and other agencies, and is responsible for filing vehicle owner titles and registration in a timely manner. Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities

• Open & accurately record incoming titles daily according to established procedures
• Verify all documents are signed & completed properly
• Maintain a high level of customer confidentiality
• Process paperwork on a timely basis
• Prepare & submit all legal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles (DMV)
• Prepare tax & title documents
• Maintain value, quality, and integrity

General Company Related Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards.
• Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Automotive Accounting experience preferred
• Excellent Communication and customer service skills
• Strong Computer, 10-key and phone skills
• Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks.
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Working Conditions The employee will work indoors in a professional office environment.
