This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establishes a plan of care as appropriate. Provides therapeutic interventions appropriate to the age and disability of the patient. Provides timely documentation of delivery of occupational therapy services provided to patients. Educates patients, family, caregivers, significant others and staff.
