Catholic Central High School is seeking a dynamic, energetic, dedicated and qualified individual to serve as a part-time Theology teacher. Candidates should be well versed in the curriculum of the USCCB as well as the standards of NCEA. Additional duties include assisting with the pastoral activities of the school, including retreats, and participation in formation programs.
Experience in Catholic education with the ability to promote the role of faith in education and leadership preferred.
Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from four-year college or university; licensed educator.
Degree in religious studies or theology from accredited Catholic institution of higher learning preferred.
Skilled in the areas of: classroom management, project-based learning, and presenting challenging and creative content.
Excellent presentation skills, with skill in use of instructional technologies.
Practicing Catholic in good standing
Experience teaching in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
Comfortable creating and leading reflections, planning school liturgies and prayer experiences.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
