NYU Shanghai is currently inviting applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Global Public Health. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong social justice orientation, and advocate for health equity by comple menting existing research strengths in migration and health, global mental health, urban health, trauma and adversity, and sexual and reproductive health. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a vibrant research community housed in the NYU Shanghai Social Sciences Area and the Center for Global Health Equity . In addition to Global Mental Health and Migrant Health, the third main pillar of the Center is focused on environmental health and climate change. Colleagues with an emphasis on climate change and health would join an active group of scholars who are focused on ecology, climate justice, and the effects of urban and built environment on human health and develop innovative and exciting collaborations with faculty across the social sciences.

Faculty may in certain cases have the opportunity to spend time at NYU New York and other sites of the NYU Global Network, engaging in both research and teaching.
We particularly seek applications from candidates who completed a doctorate in public health, epidemiology, or relevant fields who focus on the conduct of interventions, community-based participatory research, implementation science, and digital health, to improve population health. This position is part of a four-line cluster search on the climate-health nexus, broadly construed; the other three positions are in environmental studies, medical anthropology, and psychology. Candidates should be comfortable conducting collaborative research in interdisciplinary teams with scholars from diverse and complementary backgrounds.
