S&K Building Services is growing fast and is in search of a Temporary Assistant Controller to help move the team forward. If you're looking for an opportunity to develop and help our business grow, read on!

In this role, you will provide guidance and participate in all facets of the accounting team.

What You'll Do

• Support the controller in all aspects of general ledger activity, monthly reporting, budgeting, tax filings, and producing monthly financial statements
• Provide support for month-end close processes and procedures, and support internal controls, audits, and reporting

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the field services industry or similar preferred.
• You have a solid understanding of business, ERP, and CRM technology, preferably QuickBooks, Customer Factor, Smart Service, etc.
• You have supervisory experience along with being a team player to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
• You have strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.

Nice to Have

• You are a CPA.
