One of Houston’s premier financial institutions is currently seeking Tellers to be responsible for assisting in obtaining the goals aligned with our mission of “Going Above and Beyond Your Expectations.”

Location: 3101 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77003

Essential Job Functions

• Performing routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers and check cashing.
• Receiving share deposits, loan and credit card payments, and enter into in-house computer system.
• Receiving payments for installment and share secured loans, ensuring that payments equal the amount due and that all late charges, if applicable, are collected.
• Examining checks for endorsements and negotiability
• Providing members with proper receipts for payments/deposits.
• Referring credit union products and services through contact with existing and new members.
• Responding to member’s requests, problems and complaints.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Credit Union or banking experience preferred but not required

Skills and Abilities

Required skillset: cash handling background, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, outgoing personality (willing to cross sell products), work rotating Saturdays 2X/month, multitasking
