**Location:** Rochester, MN **Job Summary:** CTG is seeking a skilled Telecom/Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise telecom and network infrastructure. This role involves hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and limited project management while collaborating across IT teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, deploy, and support telecom/network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and wireless. + Manage and troubleshoot complex network issues with minimal supervision. + Participate in architecture design, technology selection, and implementation planning. + Coordinate and lead small network projects and provide input on technical strategy. + Ensure network availability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance. **Required Skills & Experience:** + Expert understanding of telecom/network concepts and the 7-layer OSI model. + Proficiency with network infrastructure (routing, switching, wireless) and monitoring tools. + Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. + Customer-focused, able to work independently or in a team. + Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience, Associate's with 4+ years, or 6+ years' equivalent professional experience. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with network security (TrustSec, ISE, VPN, DNS security). + Familiarity with SDN, SASE, Cloud networking, and automation tools (Ansible, Python, Splunk). + Cisco experience; CCNA preferred **.** Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $59.00 to $67.00/hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and applicable certifications.
