Job Description
KEY DUTIES:
Conduct remote notarization of adoption documents in compliance with state regulations. Verify the identity of the parties involved in the adoption process.
Stay informed about state-specific adoption laws and regulations to ensure accurate notarization.
Provide guidance to clients regarding notary requirements for adoption documents.
Keep accurate records of notarized adoption documents and transactions.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain the notarization process and address any questions or concerns.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflow and improve processes.
Stay updated on advancements in technology relevant to the notary field.
KEY PROFILE:
MUST be a U.S. citizen. High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Notary Public commission in your state of residence (U.S.).
Proven experience in notarizing adoption documents.
Proficiently and comfortably use remote notarization platforms and other digital tools. Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Familiarity with remote notarization laws and regulations.
Understanding of the legal requirements for adoption notarization.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain complex legal processes in a clear and concise manner. Courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with clients. Customer-focused mindset.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: High-speed Internet connection, reliable computer with a camera and microphone, and a home office set-up.
PAYMENT: $125.00-$200.00 per loan signing appointment.
