Overview:

Job Purpose

 

The TEM-Souring Analyst will lead telecom and colocation purchasing for North and South America. This includes completing RFQs, cost analysis, KMZ reviews, contract negotiations, inventory management, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, honest, and proactive individual with excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and business acumen.

 

The role includes but not limited to, working directly with our engineering teams to determine requirements and initiate bids with multiple vendors to determine the best solution and pricing. Managing the full lifecycle: quoting, ordering, implementation, and inventory record creation. Provide subject matter expertise in projects. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and track vendor bids and perform cost and technical analysis
  • Expanding and maintaining a large diverse network of telecom and datacenter suppliers
  • Review contracts and sales order forms
  • Manage negotiations, disputes, and escalations
  • Reviewing KMZ/KML files
  • Analyze Telecom Data to identify cost savings and benchmark rates
  • Stay current on Telecom industry trends
  • Provide subject matter expertise on projects
  • Prepare telecom reporting

Knowledge and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in telecom sourcing, procurement, networking, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools, excellent negotiation skills, and knowledge of telecom industry standards and practices.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow is preferable

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
