Position Marketing Statement: The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS) is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist. This position performs technical functions relating to communication systems design, analysis, provisioning, and trouble mitigation management of IEMA-OHS’s communication networks. The position is responsible for planning, designing, evaluating, and performing trouble mitigation, and recommending improvement of communication networks used by IEMA-OHS. The ideal candidate would have professional experience working with communications equipment including radio, satellite, and cellular.
