Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing counseling and support services to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues. Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients with substance abuse disorders.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
* Provide education and guidance on addiction recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention strategies.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services for clients.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
* Current licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., LCDC, LPC, LADC).
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in substance abuse counseling or related field.
* Strong understanding of addiction dynamics, treatment modalities, and recovery principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to establish rapport with clients and provide empathetic support.
* Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
* Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professional boundaries.
